I have lived and travelled all over the world, and have come to form the opinion that no city on Earth is as beautiful or interesting as my adopted city of Rio de Janeiro, the place I have chosen to stay permanently and raise my family. I have a special interest and passion for food and cooking, and have created this blog to share my thoughts about Rio’s unique and under-appreciated food culture and ingredients with both visitors and residents, as well as thoughts on trends in Brazilian music and culture. Although I intend to focus on Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, I will likely also discuss places I encounter in my travels around the world.
